AdSense Eligibility Checker

AdSense approval is not luck. Google publishes what it looks for, from enough original content to a proper privacy policy. This free checker reads your website against every requirement Google states openly, including the low-value content check, and shows exactly what to fix before you apply. Free, no sign-up.

How to check your AdSense eligibility

Most AdSense rejections come down to a short list of reasons that Google itself publishes. The checker looks for each of them on your own pages.

  1. Enter your website

Paste your home page address. The checker reads up to ten pages, your robots.txt, your sitemap, your ads.txt and your privacy policy.

  2. It runs Google's own checklist

Each of the 26 checks comes from Google's eligibility requirements, its list of reasons for not approving a site, the Publisher Policies and the AdSense Program policies.

  3. See your blockers first

Blockers are the problems Google names as reasons for rejection, such as insufficient content, a missing privacy policy or blocked crawler access. They appear at the top.

  4. Fix, check again, then apply

Every finding explains what we found, why it matters and how to fix it, with a link to the Google help page it comes from.

Six areas Google reviews before approval

  • Content and low-value content

Enough substantial pages, no under-construction or placeholder text, no thin pages, full sentences, original rather than replicated content, nothing auto-generated and affiliate content kept minor.

  • Policy compliance

Wording linked to prohibited content such as adult, pirated or hacking material, restricted topics such as gambling or alcohol, and any request to click ads.

  • Site access and ownership

Pages open without errors, the AdSense crawler is allowed in robots.txt, content is not behind a login, no redirects, a plan that lets you add code, and ads.txt.

  • Navigation and required pages

A clear menu, a privacy policy, About and Contact pages, and no pop-ups that get in the way.

  • Privacy and consent

A privacy policy that mentions cookies, Google as a third-party vendor and how to opt out, plus a consent platform for visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland.

  • Ad-friendly experience

A mobile-friendly setup, no autoplaying video with sound and, if ads already run, content that always outweighs them.

Built only on what Google says openly

  • Every check has a source

Each finding links to the Google help page it comes from, so you can read the rule in Google's own words.

  • A real low-value content check

It measures substantial pages, thin pages, full sentences, replicated content and auto-generated copy, the areas behind most rejections.

  • Honest about the limits

Where Google gives no number, such as how many posts you need, the checker says the threshold is ours. Google always makes the final decision.

  • Free and instant

Results in seconds, no sign-up, and a link you can share with your developer or team.

Your AdSense approval checklist

  • Your site is finished, with no 'coming soon' or sample pages
  • You have plenty of original, substantial articles in full paragraphs
  • A privacy policy mentions cookies, Google ads and how to opt out
  • Visitors can find a clear menu, an About page and a Contact page
  • robots.txt does not block Mediapartners-Google
  • Your content follows the Google Publisher Policies

AdSense approval: common questions

How many posts do I need for AdSense approval?

Google does not publish a number. It asks for enough original, high-quality content to give visitors a reason to visit, written in full sentences and paragraphs. In our experience a site with 15 to 20 genuinely helpful articles of 500 words or more is far easier to approve, so that is what the checker looks for.

What does "low value content" mean?

It is Google's term for pages that do not offer enough of their own: thin pages, pages copied from elsewhere, auto-generated text, pages mostly made of links or ads, and sites that are still under construction. The checker tests for each of these signs.

Is the result a guarantee of approval?

No. Google reviews every application itself and makes the final decision. The checker shows how closely your site matches what Google publicly asks for, so you can fix problems before you apply rather than after a rejection.

What are blockers?

Blockers are problems Google names as reasons for not approving a site, such as insufficient content, placeholder pages, a missing privacy policy, a blocked AdSense crawler, prohibited content or an unsupported language. Fix these first.

Do I need ads.txt before I apply?

No. Google says ads.txt is not mandatory but highly recommended. Once you have your publisher ID, add a line like google.com, pub-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0 at your domain root.

What must my privacy policy say?

Google asks publishers to explain that third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads, that Google's advertising cookies allow ads based on visits to your site and other sites, and that visitors can opt out through Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

Do I need a cookie consent banner?

If you show ads to visitors in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, Google requires a certified consent platform that uses the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. AdSense has one built in, called Privacy & messaging.

Which languages does AdSense support?

Around 50, including English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi and Urdu, plus most European and Asian languages. A site written mainly in an unsupported language cannot be approved.

Can I apply with a free website plan?

You need access to your site's HTML to add the AdSense code. Some free plans on website builders do not allow this, so check your plan, or use your own domain. Blogger supports AdSense directly.

Is this an official Google tool?

No. It is an independent tool built on Google's public AdSense help pages and policies. It is not made by or affiliated with Google.
